Richard A. Seaton, Sr.
Welcome to our family website
My name is Richard Seaton. I am a retired United Methodist Pastor and this is my website.
I served United Methodist Churches in Western Missouri from 1964 to 2000.
I retired in 2000 and moved from Missouri to Louisiana
to be close to my son and grandchildren.
I first moved to Plain Dealing, LA about 25 miles away from Shreveport. It was a big house and about 4 acres of land. In 2009 I decided to move into Shreveport to a smaller house and lot in order to be closer to my family and my doctors, etc. I purchased a 3 bedroon bungalow in Shreveport. My back gate goes out into a park (which I don't have to mow)

Brocato's Cookbooks -- Recipes from Shreveport's Landmark Restaurant.
One of my projects is a cookbook of the recipes from Brocato's Restaurant on Kings Highway in Shreveport.
It was Shreveport's oldest restaurant when it closed in late 2001. The information for the book was taken from small slips of paper written by Mr. Brocato and fixed to the wall in the kitchen explaining to the cooks how everything should be prepared. The cookbooks are $11.95 each inclluding shipping and handling and may be ordered by clicking below.
This book features specialties such as Red Snapper in the Bag plus directions on preparing many sauces and dressings.
This is the second printing, May 2012 Brocato's Cookbook Order e-book
